Who to follow: Sari Nordlund
Finnish knit design with intriguing textures
Sari Nordlund is a Finnish knit designer with some very interesting Aran cable designs. I am fascinated by how she plays with textures to make very calm yet interesting patterns.
And if you like Aran and other interpretations of cable knit you must follow her! You can find Sari Nordlund on Instagram HERE and on Ravelry as LunaKnit. She has smaller projects like socks, hats and scarves as well as big lovely sweaters!
Most of her Insta images are pleasingly grey and neutral knits, but she also has splashes of colour in between. And it’s not all complex cable knit! I fell head over heels in love with these red Lulu Socks.
Such an interesting texture using an interesting combination of simple knit and pearl. Pure beauty, and knitted in a wool/nylon blend it will wear well before needing darning.
